This bike is very famous and has a celebrity history. Parilla built four Twin Cam (Bialbero) bikes for the 1954 Milan-Taranto endurance race. Parilla took 4th overall with one of these bikes. In 1958 this bike was built from the remains of those four by Joe Rottigni, factory racer & tuner. The bike came with him to the states and was shown at the then “big” motorcycle show in Daytona Beach in 1960. Eventually, it was purchased and that owner tried to turn it back into one of the 1954 bikes. Essentially, the bike was too different and what came out of this folly was a hacked bike that didn’t represent either. I then got the bike and returned it to the way it was in 1960, when it came to the states.
